OUT OF A FLOOD (COMING 2026)
UPDATES AND MORE INFO HERE. In September 2024, Hurricane Helene brought catastrophic flooding to Western North Carolina's mountain communities—places 500 miles inland that aren’t prepared to face hurricanes.
When communications failed and official relief was slow to reach isolated areas, something remarkable happened: neighbors became first responders, volunteers created supply chains, and entire communities reorganized around survival and mutual aid.
Filmed on location as events unfolded, Out of a Flood is the story, not of the trauma and chaos we expect in disaster zones, but of community resilience and care, showing first hand how catastrophe can reveal our hidden capacity for collective action.
Labyrinth Ion (2022)
One evening under the light of a streetlamp in an unsuspecting neighborhood, events of both microscopic and cosmic proportions take place.
Labyrinth Ion is an experimental documentary about the unseen and undiscovered beauty that happens all around us. Produced by Ben Page and directed by Thomas Flight.
TBA Essay Film
For the past two years I’ve been working on a feature-length essay film about the philosophy of images. When and where this will see the light of day and exactly what form it will take is yet to be discovered.
