The Parasite Criterion Blu-Ray features a special black and white version of the film. In this video essay, I compare the color and B & W versions and talk about how watching the film in black and white affected the experience of watching the film for me. Not only does it provide a fresh perspective on Parasite as a film, but it helps us see some of the differences between color and black and white filmmaking in general.
